Seminars

The seminar titled Introduction to Coil Machine Fundamentals and Basic Maintenance offers an in-depth look at the world of coil machines, led by Annette LaRue, a seasoned expert with 35 years of experience. Annette shares her invaluable knowledge about the proper use and care of coil machines, empowering attendees to keep their machines running smoothly throughout their careers. Whether you’re a novice or experienced tattoo artist, this seminar will provide you with the tools and insights needed to ensure your equipment lasts a lifetime, helping you build a deeper connection with your machines.

By attending this session, you’ll gain the skills to maintain and tune your coil machines to perfection. Annette’s teachings will help you avoid the common pitfalls of equipment failure, enabling you to produce consistent, high-quality work. You will learn how to make small adjustments to keep your machines in top shape, ensuring they stay with you throughout your career and never end up in a landfill. Her passion for the craft and for these tools is contagious, and you’ll soon understand the unique bond between an artist and their machine.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own coil machines, as the seminar includes hands-on demonstrations. Annette will walk you through the tuning process, offering personalized advice and troubleshooting tips to optimize your machine’s performance. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to maintain and care for your machines, extending their lifespan while improving your own skills. Additionally, the seminar will occasionally feature guest appearances from some of the world’s top machine builders, who will offer expert recommendations and answer questions, providing a wealth of information from the best in the industry.

A highlight of the event is the interactive Q&A session, where you’ll have the chance to ask Annette and the guest builders any questions you may have. This open forum will provide a deeper understanding of machine mechanics, maintenance practices, and tips for improving your technique. It’s a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders and learn from their experience in a relaxed and informative setting.

The seminar will take place on Friday at noon and last for two hours, making it the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with other tattoo artists. To wrap things up, there will be a casual gathering with snacks and drinks, giving you a chance to continue the conversation in a more informal atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this dynamic and educational event – join Annette LaRue to elevate your machine knowledge and enhance your tattooing craft.
