I’m Jo Atwood and I have been at Fip Buchanan’s Avalon Tattoo in San Diego since 2015; and I’ve been tattooing for 25 years. I started my career in New York City, then moved to Canada where I tattooed for 11 years; and I’ve since been working in my hometown of San Diego starting in 2013.

Although trained in many styles, I would say my dominant style is illustrative color, with an emphasis on florals, as well as neo-traditional and other bright, decorative styles. I also like doing coverups.
